Portarlington Beach
As the weather wasn't particularly swimmy much of the time we found other ways to amuse ourselves.
Doing Mias hair:
3 of the boys learnt to ride their bikes
The grown up boys got new remote controlled cars to play with and attracted a crowd.
Sometimes cabin fever struck.
On New Years Eve we went down to the beach to see the Melbourne fireworks. They were tiny glimmers on the horizon. But the kids had fun with the glow sticks and crazy people let off flares and a few fireworks which gave us all something to look at.

There was a scrub fire behind the camp which attracted a crowd. Fortunately there had been a bit of rain which stopped it spreading as it might have done with the strong wind. Still it gave people something to talk about for a while.
Connor and Richard went on a boat trip on Port Phillip Bay. They weren't able to swim with dolphins but they both had a great time regardless.
And that's all folks.
