Obviously this is very far from a renovation, but with the return and rangehood gone, it feels so much bigger! So the white is new, and the wood is old.
We have a couple more bits and pieces to do before we move on to other areas of the house, for instance covering the hole where the rangehood was and putting in a new one. Then we will come back and fully renovate the kitchen in 2012.
Already, I am loving the Ikea kitchen drawers, and the oven and hobs are eons better than the old pieces o' junk.

the drawers look really great it would give you mutch more roon with the return over by the laundry wall.
