Summer holidays

We left it so late to book we couldn't get anywhere remotely near the coast. Which may have been a good thing, because we discovered beautiful North East Victoria. The fires had been there in the last few months, it was interesting to see the already regenerating forests.

We camped by the river and the kids (not just ours) spent their days remodelling the rapids:

We went for a trip to Albury-Wodonga and went swimming in the Murray, it's very short of water with the drought but still very fast flowing

Our campsite with not a skerrick of grass to be seen, we spent the whole time battling the dust.

The river at the camp wasn't quite the Murray, but great fun all the same

We went to explore the fire devastation, Connor got bitten by a Bull-ant, boy they are vicious beasties. I saw a Kangaroo while the others were in the car waiting for me, HA! Sorry no pic though, he was too fast for me.
