Niagara Falls

We went behind the falls and looked over the falls.

And on Maid of the Mist, which was like a very powerful shower from multiple directions while wearing loose Gladwrap. Lots of fun!

We then drove to Niagara by the Lake and spent a pleasant few minutes paddling and throwing stones in Lake Ontario. It's a lovely town which would make a good base to explore the area.

Then we set off on our epic search for a decent supermarket In Niagara Falls; the kind with a good selection of fresh food and a fighting chance of allergy friendly food. No such thing; what we found was quite a seedy town behind the shiny hotel facade. And we also found that we could have got a better motel by just turning up and asking about. Ah the lessons you learn :)

Dinner in a very dodgy Mexican restaurant that can't even tell me what ingredients are in the food. But friendly enough. Good times.

Tomorrow we see Pamela (happy excited dance)
No Internet until 28th so bye bye for now.

You're in Niagara??? I would have driven the 7-8 hours to visit you if I'd known you'd be so close. (Cue creepy stalker music now.)

Oh man that would have been so cool to see you! I did look on the map to see where you were and deduced that you were rather a long way from where we would be.
