Japanese Koinobori

As part of our Japanese history study we made these. Traditionally they are from Boys Day in Japan and one was flown for each boy in the household, the largest Koinobori for the largest boy.
Boys Day is now Childrens Day. I don't think that girls get Koinoboris but try telling our girl that!

Here they are intent in their work.



So here are our children with their completed Koinobori. We just need to hang them up now.
